Working towards their Plastic Packaging Commitment, Nestlé Europe presented the first 100% rPET bottle.

Under their Belgian natural mineral water brand VALVERT they have launched the first Nestlé bottle in Europe made out of 100% recycled PET. In order to do so it is vital to secure the right amount of high-quality (food-grade) recycled PET.

“Our strong commitment on collection (90% of our PET bottles and their caps collected in Europe by 2025) is a fundamental element hereby. Furthermore, our first 100% rPET bottle in Europe is a strong step towards our aim to use 35% rPET in our bottles globally by 2025”.
