On Monday 16 September 2013, AIM and six other EU level trade associations will be launching “The Supply Chain Initiative – together for good trading practices”.

The Initiative promotes fair business practices in commercial relations throughout the food supply chain. From 16 September companies will be able to officially register as signatories on the website of The Initiative. The Governance Group has already received dozens of letters of intent from both manufacturing and retailing companies of all sizes confirming their intention to register. Companies in the food supply chain that wish to attend are welcome to register for the launch event in Brussels where representatives of manufacturers and retailers as well as the European Commission and the European Parliament will speak, see invitation here.
