NEW YORK — Consumers in the United States by Oct. 20 had spent $128.5 billion in 2018 on sustainable fast-moving consumer goods, according to Nielsen.
The figure already had eclipsed $125.4 billion in 2017. Sales have risen nearly 20 percent since 2014 with a compound annual growth rate of 3.5 percent and a push from millennials.
